The Asia Pacific Chapter of the HTCIA is proud to announce the first HTCIA Training Conference to be held in the Asia Pacific Region.
The conference is brought to HK in line with our committment to bring the highest quality hands-on training in cybercrime investigation and computer forensics to the Asia Pacific Region - all at the lowest possible price. "A blend of the best talents from Asia Pacific and the West" The conference will comprise four tracks and will be held over 3 days amid the superb facilities and traditions of the University of Hong Kong. The four tracks will comprise the following:
The first morning opening ceremony on Wednesday 12th December 2007 will be held in the main lecture theatre in the HKU Graduate House. Thereafter starting at 1100 Hrs. the conference will split into the above 4 tracks. The first track will comprise presentations and demos held in the lecture theatre. The first day of this track will be aimed at security management personnel, and the remaining 2 days will comprise lectures targeting practitioners. The remaining three tracks will all be hands on training in cutting edge topics led by reknowned experts. Attendees may attend any track they wish, and during registration can specify the labs and lectures that they wish to attend in order of priority. Due to restricted seating in the labs, places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so it is recommended to register early! HTCIA Asia Pacific is a non-profit organisation, and prices charged are extremely competitive and are used to cover travel expenses of lecturers, venue hire and refreshment/lunch costs. We look forward to your support in order that this can become an annual event held at different venues throughout the Region! |
