Mr.Lance James - Keynote Speech
Lance James is an American computer scientist, considered an expert on computer security techniques such as anti-phishing. He has been quoted on the subject in multiple media outlets, including CBC, CNN, the BBC, the David Lawrence Show, ZDNet, Wired News, CSO, USA Today, Fox News, and the Washington Post.
In October 2001, Lance founded invisiblenet.net, a distributed cryptographic framework for the internet for anonymity and privacy. In 2003, Lance founded "Secure Science Corporation", where he is currently CTO. SSC provides intelligence-based services and products for computer forensics and anti-phishing applications, providing intelligence to major financial institutions and government agencies.
Lance has been a keynote speaker at Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force meetings, and several major universities, including the University of Madison, Wisconsin's "Takedown" conference, in 2005, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of California San Diego, San Diego State University, and Cal State Poly. He also speaks to several law enforcement, regulatory, and intelligence agencies, the Pentagon, Anti-Phishing Working Group, Digital-Phishnet, UNAM-CERT, SANS, BIT, and testifies as an expert witness in U.S. Congressional Hearings.
Lance is well known as the author of the acclaimed computer security book "Phishing Exposed" published in 2005 and as a contributor to the book "Emerging Threat Analysis" in 2006.

Mr. Peter Cavicchia - Director of Cyber Investigations, JP Morgan Chase
Peter Cavicchia brings significant investigative and computer forensic experience from his nine year career in law enforcement. In his most recent assignment, he supervised part of the U. S. Secret Service's New York Electronic Crimes Task Force comprised of over 30 Special Agents and various other Federal, State and Local Law enforcement officers. This unit specialized in cyber crime against the U.S. financial infrastructure, telecommunications fraud and other high tech related criminal violations.
Mr. Cavicchia holds various advanced certifications in Computer and Network Forensics Recovery. He has been awarded several investigative citations by the Secret Service and U.S. Department of Justice. Most notably the U.S.
Secret Service Medal of Valor, which has only been awarded to 109 special agents since the U.S. Secret Service was created in 1865.
Currently, Mr. Cavicchia plays a key role in developing and implementing cyber investigative and protective strategy and initiatives for JP Morgan Chase. This includes internal and external cyber investigations, computer forensics, global computer security incident response, cyber intelligence gathering, and cyber fraud prevention.

Mr. Stephen Vickers - President & CEO of International Risk Limited
As President and Chief Executive Officer of International Risk, Steve is responsible for the strategic direction and operations of the company.
During his 33 years in Asia Steve has led numerous sensitive business intelligence projects, political risk assessments, major financial investigations, kidnap and ransom resolutions and risk management assignments. Ms. Louise Stoupe - Litigation Partner, Tokyo Office, Morrison & Foerster
Louise C. Stoupe’s practice focuses on intellectual property and international dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation. She has represented clients in a variety of industries, including biotechnology, electronics, transportation, trading and manufacturing.
Ms. Stoupe has experience in a wide range of international commercial dispute resolution matters including internal company fraud and quality investigations, licensing disputes, electronic commerce issues, general contract disputes, including transportation and sales contracts, patent disputes, trade secret and unfair competition issues and general corporate matters.
Ms. Stoupe is licensed to practice law in the State of California, England and Wales, and New Zealand. Before moving to the Tokyo office in 2001, she was a member of the Litigation Department at Morrison & Foerster’s office in Palo Alto.

Bill Moylan is a twenty-six year veteran of the Nassau County, New York Police Department, spending fourteen of those years in the Detective Division.
Bill is currently employed with Aon Consulting Inc. in the New York office as Senior Director of the High-Tech Investigations / Litigation Support group. Assigned in 1996 to the newly created Computer Crime Section, he helped develop one of the first high-technology crime investigation and computer forensics units in the country.
In 2004 he completed a five-year full time assignment to the United States Secret Service's New York Electronic Crimes Task Force, where he assisted in investigations of national and international significance.
In October 2000, Bill was appointed a founding Director of the Stephen E. Smith Cyber Crime Center at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, New York, where he developed training programs for computer forensic practitioners and implemented a computer forensics research lab. He regularly participates in federal projects relating to digital evidence issues, and has been an invited participant in the Falcone Project of European law enforcement agencies. His certifications include the CNE (Novell), the CFCE (IACIS), and the CISSP (ISC2)

Thomas Parenty, Managing Director of Parenty Consulting Limited (Hong Kong)
Thomas has over twenty years of experience in the computer security and cryptography fields, including employment with the National Security Agency (NSA). He has designed and evaluated the information security protection of numerous national and global systems, including those for banking, electronic commerce, credit card processing, healthcare, and nuclear command and control. In addition, Parenty has designed security features in enterprise applications that are currently used by governments and businesses across the globe.
Mr. Parenty has testified five times before the United States Congress on global competitiveness, national security, law enforcement, and encryption. In addition, he has served as an advisor to the National Academy of Sciences and the President’s Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection. Harvard Business School Press published Parenty’s book, Digital Defense: What You Should Know About Protecting Your Company’s Assets. His consulting practice currently focuses on the enablement of electronic commerce and the protection of intellectual property in Asia.

Mr. Anthony Fung, Asia Pacific Internet Safety Investigation Manager, Microsoft Corp.
Anthony was a founding member of the Technology Crime Division in the HK Police Force (where he served for 12 distinguished years), and is credited with helping to shape the capability of the Force in combatting the emerging threats of IT Crime.
In 2004, Anthony joined Microsoft tasked with building an effective internet investigation capability in the Asia Pacific Region. In doing so, Anthony has been instrumental in helping Microsoft build several programs aimed at bridging the divide between the corporate world and law enforcement.

Mr.Harlan Carvey - Sr. Incident Analyst, IBM ISS Emergency Response Services
With over ten years in the Information Security arena, Harlan is responsible for responding to security incidents on a 24x7 basis.
Prior to joining ISS, he had held positions as a security consultant (conducting penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and incident response engagements), as well as full-time employment positions as a security administrator/engineer, and as the Senior Manager for Network Security for a large telecommunications company.
He is the author of numerous articles on computer security, as well as the books:
- Windows Forensics and Incident Recovery from Addison-Wesley; and
- Windows Forensic Analysis from Syngress/Elsevier.
Harlan has also presented at national conferences such as Usenix, BlackHat/DefCon 9, GMU/RCFG/HTCIA. He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

As a Forensic Computer Scientist, Andrew Rosen offers unique litigation support services to the Legal, Law Enforcement and Investigative communities.
With over a decade of experience in the recovery of computer data and forensic examination (computer forensics), Rosen regularly provides expert testimony in federal and state courts - notably, Rosen was the head forensic examiner in the Enron Case. Along with training attorneys and law enforcement officials in computer investigation techniques, Rosen frequently speaks and writes on emerging matters in the field.

Mr. Anthony Reyes, CEO Arc Enterprises of New York Inc.
Anthony Reyes is a retired New York City Police Department Computer Crimes Detective. While employed for the NYPD he investigated computer intrusions, fraud, identity theft, child exploitation, intellectual property thief, and software piracy.
He sat as an alternate member of New York Governor George E. Pataki's Cyber-Security Task Force, and presently serves as President for the High Technology Crime Investigation Association. He is the Education & Training Working Group Chair for the National Institute of Justice’s Electronic Crime Partner Initiative. Anthony is also an Associate Editor for the Journal of Digital Forensic Practice, and an editor for The International Journal of Forensic Computer Science.
He is an Adjutant Professor, and is the Chief Executive Officer for the Arc Enterprises of New York, Inc. on Wall Street. Anthony has over 20 years of experience in the IT field. He teaches for several government agencies, and large corporations in the area of computer crime investigations, electronic discovery, and computer forensics, and lectures around the world.

Mr. Thomas Rude - Consultant
Mr. Thomas Rude, CISSP, is internationally renowned as a Linux expert specializing in Data Forensics and Incident Response. Mr. Rude has built his knowledge upon years of hands-on consulting work in various areas of INFOSEC.
Mr. Rude is often retained to assist in incident response and intrusion cases, as well as to perform postmortem analysis of media. Mr. Rude has taught technical programs and training courses focusing on hacking and exploiting systems, steganography, data forensics, and assessing security.

Mr.Kevin Mansell - Managing Director,

Kevin Mansell is a recognised authority in the field of mobile phone forensics with a proven track record in training high tech crime investigators in the safe and effective retrieval of digital evidence. Control-F provides training and consultancy services in digital forensics to clients worldwide.
Prior to starting his own company, Kevin spent 3 years as a high tech crime trainer at the UK's National Centre for High Tech Crime Training. Kevin has train law enforcement personnel in mobile phone forensics, network and internet investigations and computer forensics. Since developing an entry-level course for mobile phone examiners in 2005, Kevin has successfully delivered the training to over 130 students from the UK and overseas.
Kevin has represented the UK on Interpol's European Working Party on IT Crime where he collaborated with overseas colleagues to identify and publish good practice in the rapidly maturing field of mobile phone forensics. He has also spoken at both national and international electronic crime conferences.
Before working in the field of digital forensics, Kevin gained 9 years experience working within the telecommunications industry in a variety of technical and project management roles. This included helping GSM network operators to deploy state of the art fraud detection systems to stem revenue leakage.

Jean-François Legault is a Senior Manager with Deloitte & Touche’s Forensic & Dispute Services practice in Montreal where he specializes in computer forensic investigations and the prevention and detection of computer based fraud.

Stefan Fleischmann serves as Chief Executive Officer of X-Ways Software Technology AG, a German stock corporation operated from Cologne.
Stefan originally started a software development business (sole proprietorship) in 2000 while being a student at the University of Münster. He received the German equivalent of a Master's degree in Information Systems in 2001. Keith serves as the Vice President of the Training Division for AccessData Corporation in Lindon, UT (USA). In that capacity, he oversees the development of distributed data analysis and decryption training solutions for Local, State, Federal and International law enforcement agencies as well as worldwide corporate entities involved in the prevention, investigation and prosecution of high-technology crime. While providing technology instruction around the globe, Keith provides Training Division curriculum development coordination and vision.
Prior to employment with AccessData, Keith served as a Computer Crime Specialist in the Computer Crime Section of the National White Collar Crime Center located in Technology Park – Fairmont, WV (USA). While presenting the Basic Data Recovery and Analysis (BDRA), Intermediate Data Recovery and Analysis (IDRA) and Advanced Data Recovery and Analysis (ADRA) courses, he worked extensively on the research and development of the ADRA course curriculum, serving as Program Manager for the INET (Internet Trace Evidence Recovery & Analysis) course and providing the framework of complex research and design for its development, implementation and maintenance.
From 1996 – 1998, as a police officer, Keith was assigned to work narcotics with the Western Portage Drug Task Force in Northeast Ohio. In that assignment, he worked cooperatively with the FBI, DEA, ATF, HUD and US Postal Inspection Service to successfully investigate and prosecute over one hundred felony cases. Keith participated in multiple Ohio Criminal Justice Service undercover investigation schools as both a student and peer instructor.
Keith is a member of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) and is the current Director of Training for the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS) from which he obtained (2001) and maintains Certification as a Forensic Computer Examiner (2004 / 2007). He has instructed at the FBI National Academy, the Dutch National Police Academy, the National Center for High Tech Learning in the United Kingdom (NSLEC) and the Australian Federal Police Headquarters.

Mr. Hirst was previously a 13 year veteran of the West Yorkshire Police Force in the UK. He was reassigned to the High Tech Crime Unit in 2003 and was instrumental in making WYPD a leader in mobile phone forensics in the UK. He is now employed in the private sector as the Senior Forensic Analyst and Manager of the Leeds UK office for Data Genetics International Ltd (http://www.dgiforensic.com), an electronic forensics company.
Mr. Hirst is the founding member of Phone-forensics.com - a leading information portal in the forensics community for mobile phone examinations, and has authored many instructional tutorials on that site for phone examinations. Mr. Hirst is a prolific teacher having taught mobile forensics in the United States and throughout the UK.
In his spare time, Mr. Hirst is also a member of the development team of Pandora's Box,a software tool for researching and forensically interpreting the output of the physical memory of mobile phones. he was also involved in the development of the CLiVE application - the first in its class for the automatic parsing of data obtained from the memory dumps of budget Nokia mobile telephones.

Frank Butler worked in law enforcement for 26 years, focusing on computer forensic investigations since 1984. He is a former Detective Sergeant of Merseyside Police Force, Liverpool, England. The last 5 years of his service was spent as officer in charge of the Computer Investigation Unit. Butler was also an instructor for the UK National Course on Computer Related Crimes in Great Britain.
He spent an attachment as the press liaison officer for the Merseyside Police; Butler was co-author of the UK. Association of Chief Police Officers, Best Practice Guide for Computer Evidence and he has spoken worldwide on the subject of computer forensics in many environments.
Since 2001 Frank has worked for Guidance Software and now works in the training Division of the Washington DC office, having previously been Director of Training for Europe. Frank’s role involves him in devising and developing training opportunities fro Guidance both in established fields and in many developing Nations. Having devised the strategies Frank will often be involved in delivering them.
Frank has conducted trainings in many parts of the world, notably South East Asia and is involved in ongoing work to expand the Guidance training delivery area. BJ Gleason, University of Maryland
Mr. BJ Gleason has been teaching computer science and security classes for 25 years, and was a recipient the 2007 Stanley J. Drazek Teaching Excellence Award for his innovative classroom techniques. He has been in Korea since 1995 to teach with the University of Maryland, and is now also working for Group W Incorporated as a Systems and Security administrator. He has served as a consultant to Exxon, Unisys, Atari, and the Federal Reserve Board, among others.
He holds a Educational Specialist (Ed.S) in Computers in Education, as well as degrees in Computer Science, Asian Studies, and Criminal Justice. Mr. Gleason has numerous certifications from Microsoft, GIAC, and ICS2. He is also a Certified Computer Examiner from the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners.
