Conference Venue

The 2007 HTCIA Asia Pacific Training Conference will be held in the beautiful surroundings of the University of Hong Kong. A blend of traditional and modern, with high tech facilities this is an ideal location for a conference. Just minutes away from the heart of Hong Kong, with ample hotel facilities in the vicinity.

Much of the conference presentations plus the main lunch restaurant, coffee breaks and sponsor displays will be located in the Graduate House, a modern, quiet, airy building situated in the southern part of the HKU campus. The Wang Gungwu Lecture Hall in Graduate House is a spacious air-conditioned first class auditorium, which can seat 280 persons, with modern facilities including a simultaneous interpretation system, video conferencing system, computer network connectivity and full audio-visual teaching facilities. Free high-speed wireless Internet connectivity will be available to attendees throughout the Graduate House.

HK University is easily accessible from the modern HK International Airport. The fastest method is the high speed train from the Airport to Central Station (the Airport Express). From Central Station, it is a short 10 minute taxi ride to the University.
